Winter Healing Tea

Product Description

Yarrow, Gumweed, Mullein, Plantain, Sage, Cedar, Wild Mint,

Rose Hips, Sweetgrass, a touch of Weekay (sweet flag).

A tea for cold and fever management. This natural sedative

supports relaxation and clears away toxins when one

experiences flu-like symptoms. Gumweed and mullein are

integral in providing relief for congestion, coughing, and sore

throats. As it opens pores and breaks fevers, yarrow fights

infections and rebuilds the body. Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,

antispasmodic and antiviral plant properties are found in this tea.

To Use: Add 2-3 tablespoons per tea pot or 1 teaspoon per cup

and boiling water. Steep 10 - 15 minutes or leave overnight for

infusion. Use for 5 days only. 1-3 cups per day - resume 2 weeks

later if needed. May dry leaves and use for another pot of tea.

Special Precautions: Yarrow may slow blood clotting so refrain from use two

weeks before any surgery. Some people may be sensitive or allergic to the

Asteraceae family of plants (yarrow). Mullein’s fine hairs may be an irritant,

so tea strained with cheesecloth or fine mesh is advised. Not recommended

for pregnant or breast feeding women.
